Florida metalcore juggernauts WAGE WAR are set to unleash their brand of crushing riffs, massive hooks and relentless energy on Australian audiences this week, bringing their It Calls Me By Name world tour down under with special guests ORTHODOX (USA) and HEAVENSGATE.
Kicking off Thursday 30 July in Perth, the tour will see WAGE WAR tear through Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane before wrapping up in Sydney on Friday 7 August. The highly anticipated return marks the band’s first Australian headline run since their appearance at Knotfest Australia 2024, giving fans the chance to experience new material from their latest EP alongside their biggest anthems.
The Everblack Podcast caught up with Briton Bond and Cody Quistad from Florida metalcore heavyweights WAGE WAR ahead of their Australian headline tour. Hailing from Florida, WAGE WAR have spent their storied career cultivating a reputation for snarling breakdowns, infectious hooks and their own gripping take on the metalcore realms, with their releases also often lyrically packing a connective punch via themes of mental health, introspection and perseverance. Releasing their debut full-length Blueprints in 2015, WAGE WAR have since unleashed five studio albums, including their evolutionary 2024 album Stigma.
