SUPANOVA: Morgan Davies Talks One Piece, Evil Dead Rise & Early Career Memories

Morgan Davies is back in Australia for Supanova Comic Con & Gaming, meeting fans in Melbourne this Sunday only following a huge weekend at the Gold Coast event. He has quickly built a global fanbase thanks to his breakout role as Koby in Netflix’s live-action One Piece, alongside his standout performance in the horror hit Evil Dead Rise.

Davies continues to establish himself as one of Australia’s most exciting rising stars, with a career spanning major international film and television projects.

He first gained critical attention at a young age with The Tree, opposite Charlotte Gainsbourg, which premiered at Cannes and earned him award nominations. He has since appeared in projects including The Hunter with Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill, Steven Spielberg’s Terra Nova, The Girlfriend Experience, and See-Saw Films’ The End, along with a range of acclaimed short films.

From early recognition to global franchise roles, Davies continues to build an impressive and diverse screen career across Australia and beyond.
