Live Nation has announced that Avenged Sevenfold will return to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in 12 years, bringing their renowned live show back to the region. Joining them on all dates are special guests Coheed and Cambria and Thornhill.
The tour kicks off on October 16 at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena before heading to Brisbane Entertainment Centre on October 18 and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 20. The run then moves to New Zealand, wrapping up at Auckland’s Spark Arena on October 23.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 17 at 11am local time. An artist presale begins Wednesday, April 15 at 10am and runs through to Friday, April 17 at 10am.
Priority access will first be available to A7X’s Deathbats Club and Deathbats Rewards Ticketpass holders, with the request window opening Tuesday, April 14 at 6:00am AEST / 8:00am NZST. The window closes later that night, with confirmations processed on Wednesday, April 15.
TicketPass is part of the band’s new verification-based rewards system, created by Avenged Sevenfold in partnership with Bitflips. Deathbat Rewards is a free loyalty program where fans can sign up using an email or digital wallet, earning points through streaming music, purchasing merchandise and attending shows to unlock perks across different tiers.
During the presale window, fans authenticate access using a Dapp wallet such as MetaMask or Coinbase, or via email, before submitting ticket requests. Successful requests are confirmed after the window closes. The system is designed to prioritise genuine fans while limiting bots, scalpers and dynamic pricing.
Mastercard holders in Australia will have access to a presale from Wednesday, April 15 at 10am through to Friday, April 17 at 10am, along with preferred ticket access from 11am on general sale day. In New Zealand, eligible Westpac Mastercard customers receive similar presale access and preferred ticket opportunities.
The Live Nation presale begins Thursday, April 16 at 11am and runs until Friday, April 17 at 10am local time, or until allocation is exhausted.
