Lenore Zann, best known for her iconic voice portrayal of Rogue in X-Men: The Animated Series and the hit revival X-Men ’97, has enjoyed an extraordinary career spanning film, television, theatre, radio and animation. From her breakout role as Marilyn Monroe in a rock opera at just 19 to voicing some of animation’s most memorable characters, Lenore has built an impressive legacy in the entertainment industry.
Beyond the world of the X-Men, her extensive voice acting credits include The Avengers: United They Stand, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Outlaw Star and Serial Experiments Lain, among many others. Her journey has also taken her beyond acting, with a remarkable chapter in politics and a deeply personal story of overcoming adversity and finding a renewed sense of purpose.
In her memoir, A Rogue’s Tale, Lenore opens up about the highs and lows of her life and career, sharing personal experiences from the entertainment industry and her journey of resilience and self-discovery.
Ahead of her appearance at Supanova in Brisbane and Adelaide, The Everblack Podcast caught up with Lenore to talk about her legendary role as Rogue, the enduring impact of the X-Men, her incredible career, and what it means to reconnect with fans across Australia.
