Guillermo Izquierdo from ANGELUS APATRIDA talks Australian tour with Hidden Intent and Aftermath

For their second time down under, Spain’s most highly successful thrash metal act ANGELUS APATRIDA will grace our shores once again, including headlining Adelaide’s Churches Of Steel VII – a huge honour for the fest! Signed to Century Media Records with no need to regain momentum, ANGELUS APATRIDA are more ready than most to let rip again in 2024.

Their new record Aftermath marks a pinnacle in this band’s determined and always fruitful career. It’s a defiant, uplifting and resolutely metal-as-fuck response to an era defined by chaos and fear. It’s the sound of ANGELUS APATRIDA, doing what they do, but bigger, better, louder and with more passion than ever.

The Everblack Podcast spoke to Guillermo Izquierdo from Angelus Apatrida about their upcoming Australian tour with Hidden Intent, playing the Churches Of Steel Festival, latest album Aftermath and its guests such as Jamey Jasta and Todd La Torre, his dream collaboration, future plans and more!

Joining them on the road are South Australian Pub Thrash tycoons, HIDDEN INTENT who will be celebrating a vinyl release for their infamous cult anthem ‘Addicted To Thrash’ as well as a cupla new tracks to road test from their upcoming new album. The year 2023 saw the boys working harder than a meat mincer in an Aussie pie factory and smashing out new milestones by warming up the stage for Brazilian metal legends Sepultura around Oz as well as gracing the stages of heavy metal holy land Wacken Open Air and UK’s Bloodstock!
