This week California metal legends DEVILDRIVER will release their much-anticipated new album ‘Dealing With Demons Vol. II’ via Napalm Records

As DEVILDRIVER enters its third decade, the band has released nine full-length albums, embarked on countless international tours, and gained worldwide recognition, demonstrating its unwavering resilience. In 2020, amidst the global turmoil, the iconic groove metal group DEVILDRIVER remained undeterred, delivering the highly acclaimed first chapter of their two-part Dealing With Demons series, Dealing With Demons I. As society emerges more resolute and fortified than ever, DEVILDRIVER follows suit with their 10th full-length offering, Dealing With Demons Vol. II.

Dez Fafara, the frontman of Devildriver, spoke to The Everblack Podcast about the band’s latest album, Dealing With Demons Vol. II, his near-death experience, reconnecting with his former Coal Chamber bandmates, their recent tour with Cradle of Filth, a potential return down under, and much more!

Dealing With Demons Vol. II, produced and engineered by Steve Evetts and guitarist Mike Spreitzer, is indisputably more intense and unrelentingly aggressive than its forerunner. This latest album not only epitomizes the most ferocious aspects of the two-part series but also delves into the deepest corners of the celebrated frontman Dez Fafara’s psyche, representing the ultimate catharsis of the demons that have long haunted the band’s music.

If there is any question as to whether DEVILDRIVER is slowing down any time soon, Dealing With Demons Vol. II proves that 20 years into their career, even with their demons in tow – they move forward at the forefront of metal.
