Music is a powerful force. It can and does shape our lives and sometimes makes us do crazy things. Such is the case with Kimberley, an Aussie mum who flew all the way to London last week to see her favourite band, alt rockers, Don Broco.
Kimberley booked the non-refundable trip before the bands upcoming Aussie tour this May was announced. When the members of Don Broco learned of her commitment to come and see them play at the legendary Alexandra Palace (Ally Pally) they wanted to make her trip as special and memorable as possible.
Upon landing at Heathrow airport and turning on her phone, Kimberley was greeted with a personal message from Don Broco frontman, Rob Damiani.

Following a Meet and Greet with the guys, Kimberley got to sit in on Soundcheck before finally watching the show where Rob gave her a special dedication in front of 10 000 UK fans mid set!
Summing up her trip of a lifetime, Kimberley says
“I got to watch soundcheck which is an experience in itself. The guys sound-checked their song ‘Anaheim’ which turns out was planned as it was one of the songs I’d requested to be on their setlist for this tour. I then got to meet the guys, Rob and Matt were actually on voice rest but still came out to meet me and they brought me gifts, signed vinyl and tour poster, beanie; hat and an assortment of band shirts. I then got to accompany Si and Tom to the pop up merch store and a local bar which was crazy fun.”
Finally the band bid farewell to Kimberley with the promise of catching up with her in May when they arrive in Australia, but not before recording this parting message to deliver to their Australian fans;
