After three Supa-Star-Studded days in Adelaide, Supanova Comic Con & Gaming descends on Brisbane (6–8 November 2026) for one of its biggest events to date, presenting Hollywood heavyweights from The Lord of the Rings, Aliens, Highlander and more at Australia’s premier pop culture event!
Experience the magic of Middle-earth when The Lord of the Rings stars join the Fellowship of Fandom, led by the one and only Sean Astin. Best known for his role as Samwise Gamgee in the Academy Award-winning trilogy, the SAG-AFTRA President made his big-screen debut as Mikey in The Goonies, also featuring as Bob Newby in Netflix’s mega-hit Stranger Things.
Joining his fellow Hobbit from the Shire exclusively on Sunday, Billy Boyd, a.k.a. Peregrin “Pippin” Took, will also make his first appearance with the event since 2011, alongside fellow franchise alumni Kiran Shah (Aliens, Star Wars), Bruce Hopkins (Xena: Warrior Princess), The Hobbit trilogy’s Jed Brophy and Stephen Hunter, Shane Rangi (The Chronicles of Narnia), and Brisbane exclusive Graham McTavish (Outlander).
For sci-fi Supa-Fans, the titular star of Highlander, Christopher Lambert, joins The Gathering, opposite Resident Alien star Alan Tudyk (Firefly) and Sara Tomko (Once Upon a Time). Meanwhile, beaming down from the USS Enterprise, sci-fi fans won’t want to miss Anson Mount, Captain Christopher Pike in Star Trek: Discovery and the Emmy-nominated Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Another Star Trek Supa-Star, Mark Rolston, is also set to stun across the entire three days, celebrating the 40th anniversary of another sci-fi classic, Aliens, with Colonial Marine co-stars Jenette Goldstein (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), Daniel Kash (Star Trek, Orphan Black), Cynthia Dale Scott (Invasion Earth: The Aliens Are Here), Xenomorph Alien Warrior Carl Toop, and Brisbane exclusive Ricco Ross (Doctor Who, Highlander).
Other Supa-Stars signed on only for the Queensland event include American Ninja star Michael Dudikoff (Saturday only); Bob Morley, Bellamy Blake in The 100; Nathan Jones (Mad Max: Fury Road, Troy); Matt Doran (The Matrix, Star Wars); and Power Rangers Sally Martin and Adam Tuominen.
Supa-Fans can meet all these stars and so many more when Supanova blasts into Brisbane in just a few short days! With three full days of Supa-Powered fun in store for Brisnova, book your Admission Tickets, Autographs and Photo-Ops now via Leap Events.
