EVERGREY: Tom S. Englund Talks Australian Tour, Architects Of A New Weave & Opening for Iron Maiden

EVERGREY, Gothenburg’s masterminds of melancholia, are set to return down under this October in support of their fifteenth album, Architects Of A New Weave, out now via Napalm Records.

The Everblack Podcast caught up with Tom S. Englund from Evergrey to talk about the band’s upcoming return to Australia, their latest album Architects of a New Weave, 33 years and 15 albums of Evergrey, exploring new territories around the world, the passion that continues to drive him as a musician, sharing the stage with Iron Maiden, being personally chosen by Steve Harris, and his work beyond Evergrey, including music for the upcoming Jurassic Park: Survival video game.

Tom Englund about Architects Of A New Weave:
“We’ve literally never had this much trouble picking singles. And honestly? That’s the best problem we could possibly have. Every song on this record is fighting to be the one you hear first—because we poured everything into making an album we’re flat-out obsessed with. Like always there are no fillers, no compromises, just twelve tracks we’re stupidly proud of and will be for the rest of our lives. Pre-order the album now and join the weave!”
