BESOMORA Reveal Crushing New Track ‘Imminent Lies’ From Upcoming EP Devotion to the Fear

Sydney’s BESOMORA return with their new single ‘Imminent Lies’, the first glimpse into their upcoming EP ‘Devotion to the Fear’, due for release on September 18th.

Branding their own flavour of melodic death metal, BESOMORA deliver a dark, aggressive and emotionally charged sound. ‘Imminent Lies’ showcases the band pushing deeper into modern melodic death metal territory while retaining the melody and atmosphere that define their music. The track offers an early taste of a heavier, darker and more focused direction for the band, hinting at what listeners can expect from the full EP later this year.

Vocalist/Guitarist Vlad says:

“This EP is a darker and more honest version of BESOMORA. It’s heavy and aggressive, but still emotional, melodic and memorable.”

Formed in 2021, BESOMORA quickly built a strong reputation within the Australian heavy music scene through their intense live performances and atmospheric sound, sharing stages with INSOMNIUM, BLIND GUARDIAN, SCAR SYMMETRY and PSYCROPTIC.

With ‘Devotion to the Fear’, BESOMORA are set to lean further into modern metal influences while expanding the darker and more aggressive side of their sound. Featuring crushing 9-string guitar work, cinematic atmosphere and emotionally driven songwriting, the upcoming EP signals a major step forward for the band.

The upcoming EP features guest appearances from Per Nilsson (SCAR SYMMETRY, MESHUGGAH) and Chris Broderick (IN FLAMES, ex-MEGADETH), alongside production contributions from Australian engineers Matt Clarke, Mike Trubetskov and Lance Prenc.

Drawing inspiration from Eastern European mythology, fear, inner demons and dark storytelling, ‘Imminent Lies’ serves as the opening chapter of BESOMORA’s next evolution.

‘Devotion to the Fear’ will be released on September 18th.
