THE BLACK CROWES: Rich Robinson talks Australian tour, Bluesfest and A Pound of Feathers

One of rock & roll’s most iconic and unapologetic bands, The Black Crowes are set to return to Australia this April as part of Bluesfest, bringing their electrifying live show back to local stages following their massive global reunion. Since reforming in 2019, the Robinson Brothers have reignited the fire that made them one of the most formidable live acts on the planet, tearing through more than 150 shows across 20 countries.

Alongside their appearance at Bluesfest Byron Bay, the band will deliver a run of exclusive Australian headline sideshows, joined by The Southern River Band, promising nights of soul-soaked swagger, raw rock & roll and timeless anthems.

JD sat down with legendary guitarist Rich Robinson of The Black Crowes to talk about returning to Bluesfest, the origins of that distinctive Black Crowes sound and their upcoming album “A Pound of Feathers

Their last record Happiness Bastards earned a GRAMMY nomination for Best Rock Album and a 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nod, underscoring the band’s continued relevance and influence. Expect timeless hits including Remedy, She Talks to Angels, and Hard to Handle, performed with the raw energy, soul, and swagger that define The Black Crowes.
