Harroway Unleash Vicious New Single “Run It”, Playing Elated Festival + Supporting Paleface Swiss This September

Sydney metalcore outfit Harroway return swinging with vicious new single Run It“, a no-holds-barred track of rage and defiance.

“Run It” was fuelled from pure aggression and is an onslaught of hostile riffs and venomous lyricism. Produced and mixed with longtime collaborator Mark Williamson at Keywork Audio (Inertia) and mastered by Kris Crummett (Sleeping With Sirens, Dance Gavin Dance), the track rips into sycophants, liars and egos built on false bravado. Harroway deliver a warning shot – betrayal and arrogance will always lead to downfall. The single captures the uncompromising spirit of modern hardcore and metalcore at its most potent.

The release will be launched live this weekend at Elated Festival alongside Sienna Skies, Alienist, st.sinner, Aurateque and more. They’ll follow the festival up with a couple of shows supporting Paleface Swiss and Nasty on their Sydney and Newcastle shows. On top of that, Harroway embark on a mission to revive the All Ages scene, headlining the 10th edition of ‘Your Local’ at Marayong Community Centre later this year.

Since forming in 2019, Harroway is Matt Banks (vocals), Anthony Carnell (guitar), Jordan Sheriff (bass) and Jack Palmer (drums). Together the band have jumped from strength to strength, becoming a cathartic outlet for anyone grappling with their inner demons. Fusing crushing riffs with real emotion and lived experience, the five-piece continue to carve out a place in the heart of Australia’s heavy music scene, drawing deeply from personal struggles and mental health battles.

Their debut 2023 EP, I Don’t Want To Be Here Anymore‘, resonated with fans globally and led to a sold-out headlining tour that took the band across Australia. Harroway have since stepped up to support renowned international acts We Came as Romans (USA), Invent Animate (USA), and Crossfaith (JAP) as well as Australian heavyweights Make Them SufferOcean SleeperWindwaker and more.

Harroway remain steadfast in their belief in their craft and seek to share their passion with audiences from all corners. “Run It” is available and streaming now on all platforms.
