Due to overwhelming demand, THE PLOT IN YOU today announce a venue upgrade for their 2026 Melbourne show, with Brisbane and Chelsea Heights completely sold out ahead of the band’s headline Australian run next January.
Joined by special guests FIT FOR A KING (USA), BOUNDARIES (USA) and BANKS ARCADE, THE PLOT IN YOU will head to Fremantle, Adelaide, Chelsea Heights, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane between Wednesday 21 January and Friday 30 January next year.
A band relentlessly poised on the cutting edge of heavy music, THE PLOT IN YOU have cultivated ongoing critical acclaim and fan adoration since first forming 15 years ago. Hailing from Ohio, the group announced themselves to the scene via their 2011 debut album, First Born, paving the way for their soon-to-be-signature balanced and innovative take on metalcore tropes. Whether weaving elements of alternative, electronic, pop, R&B and beyond into their raw yet thunderous sound, one thing is always certain when it comes to THE PLOT IN YOU: expect the unexpected and hang on for an exhilarating ride.
Whether crafting a gold-certified single (Feel Nothing), racking up over 100 million streams, garnering praise from the likes of Billboard, Rock Sound and Alternative Press, or touring with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Beartooth, Ice Nine Kills and Wage War, THE PLOT IN YOU continue to purge negative real world experiences into captivating art, including most recently via their 2021 fifth studio album Swan Song, and in 2024 with their trilogy of EPs, Vol. 1, Vol. 2 and Vol. 3. Erupting out of Texas in 2011, FIT FOR A KING swiftly carved out a name for themselves with a blistering style rooted in metal and hardcore, while also balancing out their raucous tendencies with plenty of hypnotic hooks for good measure. Releasing their breakout album in 2013, Creation/Destruction, FIT FOR A KING have gone on to command four consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Charts, generate millions of streams, including fan-favourite tracks like When Everything Means Nothing, The Price of Agony and Breaking the Mirror, and have extensively toured the globe with everyone from Killswitch Engage through to Motionless In White, I Prevail, Parkway Drive and The Devil Wears Prada. Most recently the group released their seventh studio album, 2022’s The Hell We Create, which scored critical acclaim for its soundscapes, instrumentation and lyrical vulnerability.
Connecticut metalcore collective BOUNDARIES first announced themselves with a series of EPs before going on to unleash their debut studio album Your Receding Warmth in 2020. Against the pandemic years, the band would follow on with 2022’s Burying Brightness and 2024’s Death Is Little More, with Knotfest.com declaring the latter as “arguably their most complete collection of tracks to date”, and spawning millions of individual streams via tracks like Easily Erased, Scars On A Soul, Turning Hate Into Rage and many more. Whether performing with The Plot In You and The Ghost Inside or at their own headline shows, BOUNDARIES bring a perfect balance of chaos and unity to the table.
Formed over a shared love of music with an avant-garde aesthetic, BANKS ARCADE continue to cement themselves as one of the most innovative Australian bands in the heavy scene. From their debut 2018 EP Endnote through to their debut 2022 album Future Lovers and, most recently, two EP releases in 2024 in the form of DEATH 2 and A Muse, BANKS ARCADE always tantalisingly teeter on the edge of modernity, adding a future-facing breath of fresh air that embraces everything from hip hop, through to electronica and searing metalcore.
