THE HIVES: Special guests announced | Final tickets on sale now

With their new album The Hives Forever Forever The Hives (pre-order here) releasing August 29 and new single ‘Paint A Picture’ out now, international rock juggernauts The Hives are returning to Australia for the first time in nearly a decade.

Celebrated across the globe as one of the most exhilarating live acts on the planet, the Swedish kings will ignite Aussie stages this July, playing headline shows in FremantleMelbourneSydney and Brisbane… with final tickets on sale now.

Promoters are pleased to announce that joining The Hives on this highly anticipated run are three of Australia’s fiercest live acts:

Fremantle: There are rock bands – and then there’s The Southern River Band. Off the back of last year’s critically acclaimed album D.I.Y. and teasing a new release this September, these West Aussies aren’t slowing down any time soon. Currently in the midst of a summer European tour – including festival sets at Download, Resurrection Fest, Rock for People, Copenhell, and Hellfest – the band has just dropped their latest single and short film, Don’t Take It to Heart. Expect nothing less than rock ’n’ roll at its wildest.

Melbourne: With a ferocious sound that fuses muscular street punk and timeless rock ’n’ roll swagger – and featuring members of Stiff Richards, Bad//Dreems, and No Zu – Melbourne’s Split System are no-holds-barred rockers who’ve just returned home after an 18-show headline run across Europe. Thanks to blistering tracks like singles ’Chemicals’, ’On The Edge’ and ’On The Loose’, the band have shared stages with the likes of Amyl & The Sniffers, The Murlocs, Cosmic Psychos, Boris, Cable Ties, C.O.F.F.I.N, Kneecap, Floodlights, and more.

Sydney/Brisbane: Returning home in July – fresh off a run of European shows – to unleash their uncompromising live energy, Melbourne punk trio CLAMM are a force of nature. After playing festivals across Europe and sharing stages with the likes of Ty Segall, Amyl & The Sniffers, and King Gizzard, the Naarm-based trio dropped their acclaimed third studio album, Serious Acts, in May. CLAMM’s music explores the challenge of navigating systems of power and oppression while maintaining a strong sense of self and mental health, and has been heard across the airwaves on Double J, RRR, PBS, ZZZ, and more.

Armed with blistering new material, their trademark swagger, and a crack team of local supports, The Hives’ 2025 return to Australia is not to be missed! Final tickets on sale now.
