Avenged Sevenfold are taking over Melbourne’s Cherry Bar from today until October 20, with a weekend of celebrations leading into the band’s Australian tour.
The iconic rock bar will be pouring Avenged Lager on tap all weekend, while the band’s music will be playing throughout the venue. Fans heading to the Melbourne show can also score a free schooner of Avenged Lager on show day with their ticket, available pre-show while stocks last.
Adding to the takeover, a custom mural by Melbourne artist Ling has been installed at Cherry Bar, with another piece of artwork now up at 57 Bourke Street for fans to check out over the weekend.
The Melbourne festivities follow a successful Avenged Sevenfold tattoo pop-up in Sydney with Lauren Winzer, which saw the renowned tattoo artist booked out for the entire day. Fans travelled hours to get their Avenged Sevenfold ink, with one even getting their first-ever tattoo at the event.
With the band’s Australian tour underway, it’s clear there’s plenty of excitement around A7X, with fans getting involved well beyond the shows themselves.
