On November 27th, brutal death metal/slam crew Peeling Flesh will release their sophomore self-titled album via Unique Leader Records. For a first preview of Peeling Flesh, the new single “Murderous Intent” (feat. Mike Ryan of Missing Link) can be streamed now here: https://orcd.co/PEELINGFLESH – where the record is also available for pre-order in various formats.

On the album, Damonteal Harris (vocals) comments: “This has been our baby for the last year. An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we’ve written to date and we’re extremely stoked to get them out finally.”

Regarding “Murderous Intent”, Damonteal adds it’s: “Ruthless and vicious. Solidifying that Oklahoma/New York connection.”

Formed in 2021, Oklahoma’s rising quintet Peeling Flesh exploded onto the scene with their acclaimed debut full-length The G Code (2024), praised by Blabbermouth for the “full-throttle way they go about their business.” With a sound that’s equal parts raw aggression and groove-heavy precision, the band has quickly made their mark as “the new face of slam” (Metal Injection).

With last year’s EP release – PF Radio 2 – Peeling Flesh pushed their signature sound even further: “with their unique integrations of hip hop samples throughout their entire discography, an undeniably charismatic frontman, flawless live performances from the entire band, and tireless songwriting output, you can’t help but root for PF” (Knotfest).

The group continues to carve their path through the underground and beyond, touring with some of metal’s premier acts (Lorna Shore, The Black Dahlia Murder, Sanguisugabogg), collaborating with high-profile artists across scenes (Svdden Death, YVM3, NIMDA), and solidifying their reputation as a band without boundaries.

Now, with their upcoming sophomore album, Peeling Flesh are doubling down on everything that has made them one of the most talked-about bands in extreme metal. Blending crushing slam, death metal, hardcore, and hip-hop influences with an ever-expanding cast of collaborators, this is their most unrelenting and ambitious release to date.
