Recorded at Pony Studios in Melbourne, ION SKY poured a diverse palette of influences into sessions that would ultimately form the bones of their forthcoming new album, BEFORE WE DIE. With the creation of ‘THE DIRT WILL HUMBLE YOU’, the group lays the gauntlet down in a big way, early on.
“This song wasn’t originally going to be on the album, Mike Joseph came up with the opening line followed by a constant droning melody then sang it to Jake James over the phone and it quickly became a contender because of the song’s hooks and the power behind its subject.
