Legendary independent New York-based rock label Equal Vision Records is excited to announce the signing of veteran Los Angeles-based alt-rock band Slothrust for 2026 and beyond.
Joining a roster of recent signees such as Quicksand, Sparta, I AM THE AVALANCHE, The Flatliners and LOWREV (Joshua Fiedler of The Juliana Theory), Slothrust have offered its first song for the label, “Burn The Deck“.
“We are so excited to share that we have signed with the historic independent label, Equal Vision Records,” Leah Wellbaum and Will Gorin of Slothrust said. “This next chapter of Slothrust will be epic and we couldn’t be more psyched to join their fam.”
“Burn the Deck” is the first offering of new music from the rockers since their 2025 Wildcard EP. “‘Burn the Deck’ is a song encouraging people to dismantle the current systems keeping them in a cage of their own making,” Leah and Will said of the new single. “It’s a surrealist disruptor’s anthem that beckons listeners to carefully consider what they are consuming and challenge their notion of who is really driving.”
Additionally, Slothrust has announced a full U.S. tour this September, making a stop at Riot Fest in Chicago on Friday 18 September headlined by Twenty One Pilots, Tool, Pierce The Veil and more.
