Jackson Guitars has unveiled the Pro Series Signature Wes Borland King V™ KV, created in collaboration with Wes Borland, marking the first-ever signature model between the brand and the Limp Bizkit guitarist.
Designed to Borland’s exact specifications, the King V™ KV delivers a high-impact combination of aggressive tone, streamlined functionality, and striking visual identity, reflecting his long-standing reputation as one of modern rock and nu-metal’s most distinctive players.
“It’s taking me a long time to figure out what I need as a guitar player… you just need volume, pickups, locking tremolo system and 24 frets,” said Wes Borland. “Live, it just needs to be as bulletproof as possible.”
Built for touring reliability and sonic intensity, the model embodies Borland’s minimalist-but-powerful philosophy while embracing Jackson’s signature bold design language.

Jackson Product Development Manager Peter Wichers noted that Borland’s signature design emerged from an unexpected modification during early custom shop testing, where a left-handed King V was adapted for right-handed play—resulting in the now-iconic upside-down logo orientation that made it into the final production model.
“Being involved in the development of his Signature King V has been an incredibly cool project,” Wichers said. “I think that shows in every inch of this guitar.”
Filmed in São Paulo during Limp Bizkit’s Loserville: Gringo Papi Tour, the launch showcases Wes Borland performing with the new King V™ KV in a high-energy stadium setting filled with pyrotechnics and crowd intensity.
