Mellen Events and Face to Face Touring have confirmed that The Pogues’ Australian and New Zealand tour will go ahead as scheduled, with all original dates intact. Due to popular demand, a new show has been added in Brisbane on Thursday, 2nd April at Fortitude Music Hall. Tickets go on sale Monday, 23rd March at 10:00am (QLD time) via Ticketmaster.
The tour marks the band’s long-awaited return to Australian stages, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their classic album Rum, Sodomy & the Lash.

The tour features original members James Fearnley, Jem Finer, and Spider Stacy, alongside a stellar cast of musicians and guest vocalists, including:

Released in 1985, Rum, Sodomy & the Lash is a cornerstone of punk and alternative rock, renowned for its raw energy, poetic lyrics, and infectious melodies. Fans can expect the album played in full, including B-sides, extended tracks, and a special selection of their most beloved material.
Widely regarded as one of the greatest folk-punk albums, it features anthems like “Dirty Old Town,” “A Pair of Brown Eyes,” and “A Rainy Night in Soho.” Ranked among Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” its influence continues to resonate across generations.
Returning for their first Australian and New Zealand tour in 14 years, this is a rare opportunity to witness The Pogues’ extraordinary legacy live on stage.
