Live Nation has announced that American rock band A Perfect Circle will return to Australia and New Zealand this December for their first tour of the region in over a decade.
Formed in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan of Tool, the band last toured Australia in 2013 and have not played New Zealand in more than 20 years.
The announcement follows the band’s upcoming European headline tour, their first major run since 2018. Across their career, A Perfect Circle have released four studio albums including their acclaimed debut Mer de Noms (2000), which featured the singles Judith and 3 Libras. They later followed with Thirteenth Step (2003), eMOTIVe (2004) and Eat the Elephant (2018), which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

Joining the tour as special guests will be Puscifer, the electro-rock project featuring Maynard James Keenan alongside Mat Mitchell and Carina Round. Known for their immersive live performances blending electronic textures, post-punk atmospheres and theatrical storytelling, the band recently released their latest album Existential Reckoning: Rewired.
