Next week, Pittsburgh deathcore titans Signs of the Swarm are set to return down under for a massive tour with Prog/Metalcore pioneers BORN OF OSIRIS!
The Everblack Podcast caught up with David Simonich from Signs of the Swarm to talk about the band’s upcoming Australian tour with Born of Osiris, what fans can expect from their crushing new setlist. David also discusses the deeply personal themes behind the band’s recent material, how songwriting acts as therapy, life on the road, and what lies ahead for Signs of the Swarm as they continue touring and working toward their next record.
Watch/listen to the interview here:
Signs of the Swarm released their sixth full-length album To Rid Myself of Truth on August 22, 2025 via Century Media Records. Reuniting with producer Josh Schroeder (known for work with Lorna Shore, Mental Cruelty, Varials, and King 810), the band continued shedding their slamming deathcore skin. The record reveals a group increasingly influenced by the mechanical groove and atmosphere of Meshuggah, Gojira, and Fear Factory—bands that once inspired them and are now very much their peers.
