Get ready, Melbourne! HEAVY AF – Heavy Music Festival is back, bringing together a powerhouse lineup of metal, metalcore, progressive rock, and heavy rock acts for a day of non-stop heaviness.
Leading the charge is festival headliner Gravemind, renowned for their unique mix of brutal riffs with melodic and atmospheric elements. Supporting them are RUN, playing their signature ‘blackened post-metalcore’ sound, and Earthbound, who fuse the intensity of modern metalcore with the storytelling of video games.
Fans can also catch high-energy sets from Internet Romance, Babchia, Matahari, Sleeper Service, Jupiter The Giant, Sun Stone, and Serious Crew – ten bands in total for just $10!
Presented by Hydra Studios, HEAVY AF has previously sold out in 2018 and 2019, and this year marks the festival’s long-awaited return at the iconic Corner Hotel. Expect a full day of genre-crossing mayhem, from moshpits for progressive rock to head-banging heavy rock.
The first 50 punters to arrive will score a $10 drink card, making the start of the festival even sweeter. Doors open at 3.30pm, with the first band hitting the stage at 4pm, and the show will run until midnight.
