BLEEDING ART COLLECTIVE in partnership with BLOOD BLAST DISTRIBUTION is pleased to release the latest single ‘A-voidant’ from Australian metalcore crushers ARTIFACT.
Taken from the band’s upcoming EP ‘Umbra’ Artifact has once again teamed up with ARIA Award winning producer Lance Prenc (Polaris, Alpha Wolf) to mix and master the EP.
Recognised for the dual vocal dynamic between Michael Veneris and Rebecca Horseman, ‘A-voidant’ takes this interplay to new heights backed by the band’s signature soundscapes and groove.
Commenting on the subject matter behind the new single, singer Michael Veneris states:
‘A-Voidant explores the quiet ache of avoidance and passive suicidal ideation, wrapped in a soundscape that shifts between soaring melancholy and crushing intensity. Deceptively uplifting in the chorus, the track mirrors the contradictions of emotional suppression—masking deep pain beneath a polished surface. It’s a haunting and cathartic release for anyone caught between silence and collapse.’
Artwork for ‘Umbra’ was created by US designer Gavin Sykes at Tiltshift Visual who has worked with acts Kingdom Of Giants, ten56., Invent Animate and many more, and who has also created the visualiser for the latest single ‘A-voidant’ and previous single ‘Requiem’
