Black Label Society have officially announced their long-awaited new studio album, Engines of Demolition, set for release on March 27, 2026 via Spinefarm Records. The record marks the band’s first full-length release since 2021’s Doom Crew Inc. and is available for pre-order now.

To celebrate the announcement, BLS have also unleashed their crushing new single ‘Name In Blood’, which is streaming everywhere now alongside a brand-new music video.

Zakk Wylde began writing Engines of Demolition back in 2022 during the relentless Pantera Celebration World Tour and continued working on the album through 2025. Among the tracks is what Wylde describes as his most personally profound and heartfelt ballad to date, ‘Ozzy’s Song’, written as a tribute to the man who started it all for him.

Engines of Demolition is a sincere ride through the peaks and valleys of the last four years from start to finish, some of the highest highs and lowest lows and everything in between,” says Wylde.

For more than 25 years, Black Label Society have stood as one of heavy music’s most unshakeable pillars, delivering album after album of blues-soaked grooves, hard-hitting riffs, and soul-baring ballads. True to form, Engines of Demolition continues that tradition with an unrelenting commitment to pure, uncompromising hard rock.

In 2022, Wylde was invited to honour his fallen brothers, the late great Dimebag Darrell Abbott and Vinnie Paul, as part of the Pantera Celebration. It was during this period of reflection, touring, and writing that the foundations of Engines of Demolition were laid.

The album follows the release of four singles: ‘The Gallows’ (2024), ‘Lord Humungus’ (2025), ‘Broken and Blind’ (2025), and now ‘Name In Blood’ (2026). Together, they paint a clear picture of a band still operating at full throttle — a pure expression of the paradox at the heart of Black Label Society: Wylde’s darkest, heaviest riffs colliding with his most soulful and emotionally charged songwriting.

A charismatic hard rock and metal marauder, Zakk Wylde remains a living legend and guitar icon. Rising to prominence as Ozzy Osbourne’s right-hand man, his career has since expanded to include multi-platinum albums, countless sold-out tours, signature guitars, his own coffee brand, and side projects including Zakk Sabbath. Yet at the core of it all, Black Label Society remains his primary creative outlet.

As Wylde himself puts it:

“Less is more with everything… except the guitar solos and coffee!”

Engines of Demolition is shaping up to be another thunderous chapter in the Black Label Society legacy — and 2026 just got a whole lot louder.
