Dyssidia’s Corey Davis Talks ‘Deeper Wells Of Meaning’

This Friday November 28, Australian prog metal masters Dyssidia will release their long-awaited new album ‘Deeper Wells Of Meaning’ via Wild Thing Records.

The Everblack Podcast spoke to Corey Davis from DYSSIDIA about their upcoming album Deeper Wells of Meaning, the five-year writing process behind it, the album’s artwork by Adam Burke, the collaboration with shamisen artist Noriko Tadano, and working with Sam Vallen on mixing and co-production.

He also talks about opening for Opeth, DYSSIDIA’s upcoming Adelaide album launch on December 13, and the status of the new record from his other band, Freedom of Fear.

Co-produced and mixed by Sam Vallen (Caligula’s Horse) and mastered by V. Santura (Obscura), the upcoming album dives deeper into the band’s core a unique combination of weaving, crushing intricacy and raw vulnerability into a singular, immersive experience.

Deeper Wells Of Meaning will be released on November 28 via Wild Thing Records.
