With a massive Australian tour announced last month, The Streets have confirmed the Brisbane venue for their upcoming run. Alongside shows in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, British icon Mike Skinner will take to the stage at Brisbane’s South Bank Cultural Forecourt, nestled in the scenic South Bank Parklands.
With Adelaide already sold out and Perth on its final tickets, fans are urged to secure theirs before it’s too late.
TICKETS ON SALE
General tickets go on sale Friday 24 October at 10 AM local time via Handsome Tours.
This tour marks the first time The Streets will perform the landmark 2004 album A Grand Don’t Come For Free in its entirety. Fans can expect to hear era-defining hits like “Dry Your Eyes,” “Fit But You Know It,” and “Blinded By The Lights.” The album remains a cinematic journey through love, loss, chaos, heartbreak, and hope, cementing Skinner as one of the UK’s most original and vital voices.
Mike Skinner said:
“I’ve always loved coming back here with the band; it feels like a home away from home. The crowds are bonkers, they give as good as they get, and this is the first time we’re bringing A Grand Don’t Come For Free to the stage in full. Can’t wait to get properly stuck in over in New Zealand and Australia.”
An inimitable live performer, Skinner has collaborated with a who’s who of British music—from IDLES to Fred Again—and even Australia’s own Tame Impala. Known for his undeniable stage presence, quintessentially British tongue-in-cheek attitude, and ability to captivate audiences from intimate basements to Glastonbury headline slots, The Streets are not to be missed.
