Gold Coast/Brisbane based riff-enthusiasts THESE FOUR WALLS have today dropped their latest single “Cadence”. Following on the heels of their previous release “Into The Ocean”, “Cadence” is an uplifting and anthemic exploration into finding the hope in dark places:
“This one’s about what happens when you’ve gone too far to turn back. When you’re too far gone to pretend you’re not sinking. It’s about that point where the only thing left to do is keep your eyes open and keep breathing, even when there’s no sign of light.
We’ll overcome if we survive – that really sums it up. It’s not about being fearless or heroic. It’s about endurance. It’s about waiting long enough for things to change, even if that means sitting on the bottom for a while. Sometimes surviving is all you can do, and sometimes that’s enough.”
Steve Gibb, Vocals, Guitar
“Cadence” was produced, engineered and mixed by Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus). The release of “Cadence” follows two months of touring, which saw them play several headlining shows in Australia and New Zealand, as well as supporting touring Nu Metal veterans Ill Niño (USA) in Brisbane.

Over the last few years, THESE FOUR WALLS have supported many other touring acts, including Seether, Atreyu, Skillet, P.O.D., Fuel, Powerman 5000, Fozzy and Buckcherry, which has exposed them to thousands of new fans in Queensland, but they’re excited to get out on the road in August for a run of headline shows.
THESE FOUR WALLS next live shows are:
Thu November 27 – Mos Desert Clubhouse, Gold Coast w/ BLVD OF EYES (USA)
Sat November 29 – Soapbox Beer, Brisbane for HEAVYFEST
Fri December 12 – Norton Music Factory, Caloundra (Headline show)
