Trailblazing industrial trio HEALTH have delivered their latest single, ORDINARY LOSS the first single from their upcoming album CONFLICT DLC, set for release on December 11th 2025 on Loma Vista Recordings.
New single ORDINARY LOSS is the bands’ heaviest album opener to date and it’s a defiant return for the group – combining harrowing riffs, immersive industrial textures, and darkly reflective lyricism, the track signals a powerful leap forward and sets the stage for what promises to be one of the year’s most visceral releases. Speaking about the new single, lead singer Jake Duzsik puts it simply “The dead are blessed with no dreams.”
A stack of 12 full-octane industrial metal bangers, new album CONFLICT DLC sees HEALTH continue to explore deep existential undercurrents through a borderless genre lens. Their unapologetically heavy sound has run from harsh electronic noise beginnings through gale-force industrial pop to the half-joking categorisation “cum metal” of their previous album RAT WARS – yet what unites HEALTH’s music is its root of depressive weight and maximalist aesthetic intensity. HEALTH want CONFLICT DLC to speak directly to their fanbase, which they describe as a “coalition of subcultures” – spanning memelords, heavy music diehards, the perverted and generally pop culture obsessed – and for all its existential strain, it is ultimately designed for enjoyment.
Lyrically, Jake continues to inhabit familiar terrain – depression, anxiety, compulsion – but now with a resonance born of 2025’s hyper-digital doomscrolling culture. Speaking about the new album, he drolly explains “No, it’s not just your imagination. The future is shit and the phone you are reading this on is making it worse, but please don’t put it down. We are delighted to announce 12 new tracks of anger, fear, sadness and death, and to beg for yet more of your addled attention.”
For the new album, HEALTH enlisted the inimitable STINT for production again who took the cinematic heaviness established on RAT WARS and pushed it in a more concentrated direction for CONFLICT DLC. The band also tapped Knocked Loose producer Drew Fulk (aka WZRD BLD) to mix the album alongside Lars Stalfors, who together expertly balanced the high contrast textures of the album.
From October to December, HEALTH will bring their unmatched energy to live stages across North America and Latin America as they join Pierce the Veil on their I Can’t Hear You World Tour. HEALTH will light up amphitheatres and arenas across the States before heading to Latin America, seeing them perform in cities such as Bogota, Mexico City, Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo. Known for their wild and immersive performances, HEALTH are fiercely revered live, and this tour will see them begin to tease new songs from their much-anticipated new record.
A slate of sad bangers for the end times, CONFLICT DLC finds connection in the disconnect and glitter in the dark.
