With over 4 Million followers across their platforms, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity for fans to witness the guitar and bass heroes emerge from the screen onto the stage to perform together live. This tour is an unmissable event for fans of virtuoso musicianship and those eager to experience the real-life chemistry between these YouTube giants. Whether you’re a follower of Bernth‘s intense technical guitar work or Charles Berthoud’s genre-bending bass lines, this is a must-see show for music lovers and aspiring musicians.

The Everblack Podcast spoke to Charles Berthoud about the upcoming Escape the Internet Tour with Bernth, playing live for the first time down under, and how surreal it feels to take viral online collaborations into real-world stages.

Charles also shares stories about his first shows with Bernth, their shred-off origins, performing alongside Australian bass titans The Omnific, and what it means to inspire the next generation of young musicians at all-ages shows. We dive into the balance between emotion and technicality in modern music, his bucket-list collaboration with Victor Wooten, dreams of jamming with Metallica, and the magic of connecting with fans face-to-face rather than through a screen.

Bernth & Charles Berthoud are internationally acclaimed musicians who first gained fame through their viral YouTube performances. Bernth, a virtuosic guitarist from Austria, and Charles Berthoud, a pioneering bassist from the UK, are known for their technical mastery, inventive arrangements, and genre-defying style. Together, they formed the collaborative project Escape the Internet, joining forces with Swedish guitarist Ola Englund to bring their online fame to the live stage. The trio’s 2025 European tour captivated audiences with high-energy performances and intricate musicianship, and Bernth and Berthoud are now set to continue their journey in Australia, offering fans an unforgettable fusion of technical skill, creativity, and showmanship.

Joining the dynamic duo are progressive instrumentalists, The Omnific, who are fast becoming international superstars in their own right. The Omnific have received international critical acclaim for their otherworldly live shows and outrageous musical versatility – which dives through prog, metal, djent, funk, synth-driven soundscapes and more.
