Gold Coast/Brisbane based hard rock outfit THESE FOUR WALLS have today dropped their latest single, entitled “Into The Ocean”.
THESE FOUR WALLS are known for dealing in powerful riff-heavy tunes with melodic anthemic choruses, and “Into The Ocean” satisfies on both counts. Lyrically, the song delves into the way that negativity tends to drown out positivity, not just in the media, but in society. Says vocalist Steve Gibb “Doom and gloom have been amplified and things that once had been shocking have become the norm, leaving little room for the voice of reason or an uplifting narrative.”
Produced, engineered and mixed by Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus) “Into The Ocean” is the band’s first release in 2 years. Although they’ve been quieter than usual over the past 18 months, they haven’t been idle, having supported Skillet and Atreyu, and having recorded several new tracks, of which this is the first to be released.
Over the last few years, THESE FOUR WALLS have supported many other touring acts, including Seether, P.O.D., Fuel, Powerman 5000, Fozzy and Buckcherry, which has exposed them to thousands of new fans in Queensland, but they’re excited to get out on the road in August for a run of headline shows.
THESE FOUR WALLS are headlining Brisbane (August 8th, Black Bear Lodge), Melbourne (August 15th, The Workers Club) and Auckland (August 16th, Big Fan), with more shows to be announced in the very near future
THESE FOUR WALLS are a hard rock band, originally formed in Auckland, New Zealand and now based in Brisbane/Gold Coast, QLD. Their signature brand of riff-heavy rock anthems have seen them amass millions of streams online, win a Queensland Music Award for Best Heavy Song (White Lies, 2021) and support a multitude of international and local artists, including Disturbed, Nickelback, Seether, Fuel, Buckcherry, Powerman5000, Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect and Devilskin.
