Against The Current Add Special Guests Days Like These To Nightmares & Daydreams Australian Tour

New York’s finest pop punk three piece AGAINST THE CURRENT are imminently headed down under this September and October. Joining them as main support for the Nightmares & Daydreams Australian tour will be Brisbane rockers DAYS LIKE THESE, as well as FRIENDS OF FRIENDS in Brisbane, PENI PARKER in Sydney, NTH ROAD in Melbourne and Belgrave, LOLA in Adelaide and CHEZ in Perth.

Returning to Australia in just over a months’ time, AGAINST THE CURRENT have built their incredible career on straddling the worlds between video game culture and the rock scene and have earned accolades and a faithful fan following with their brand of pop, rock, and indie sounds.

With hundreds of millions of streams, including 465 million Youtube channel views, over 4 million Spotify monthly listeners, major collaborations and countless packed shows, the trio show no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Drawing inspiration from Bring Me The Horizon, Don Broco and Waterparks, Brisbane alternative rock duo DAYS LIKE THESE conjure an innovative mix of alt rock, metalcore and grunge alongside grooves, infectious melodics and pop sensibilities. Cementing themselves as a staple on the scene after releasing their debut EP Wide Awake, the band recently released their brand new EP ICON earlier this year, and appearances with Black Veil Brides, Polaris, alt., Diamond Construct and more firmly under their belts.

Hailing from South East Queensland, FRIENDS OF FRIENDS merge attention-grabbing indie rock with heartfelt narratives, injecting elements of Wolf Alice, U2 and Nine Inch Nails into their razor-sharp yet glistening creations. The potent quartet have also previously shared stages with the likes of Slowly Slowly, Yours Truly and Between You & Me.

A fresh addition on the Australian rock scene, Sydney’s PENI PARKER fuses punk, emo and pop culture into a searing and enigmatic package. Inspired by the likes of Nova Twins, Fever 333 and Maggie Lindemann, PENI PARKER has previously performed alongside Hot Milk, Ocean Grove, Bakers Eddy and many more.

Launching as a band less than two years ago, Melbourne’s NTH ROAD cemented their burgeoning and dedicated following in 2022 with their debut EP Panic showcasing the group’s knack for brutal riffs, soaring choruses and lush textures, going on to appear alongside some of Australia’s finest up-and-coming acts, including ATLVS, Tapestry and Harroway.

Turning heads via their energetic, feel-good tunes, Adelaide’s LOLA wield a mix of influences spanning Violent Soho, The Bennies, Radiohead and John MayerWith odes about the natural environment, life’s highs and lows, the government and general tom-foolery, LOLA‘s gigging history spans performances with  Cosmic Psychos, Thirsty Merc and many more.

CHEZ, the confident, self-assured alter ego of Perth artist Chezni Watson, hurls growling guitars and dizzying production alongside unabashed vulnerability. Fusing nods to Bring Me The Horizon, Paramore and Against The Current, CHEZ signed with Outlast Records in late 2021 and continues to solidify herself as an artist truly on the rise.
