Tim King From SOiL Talks Australian Tour, New Music and Death Metal Origins

This May, SOiL will be joining their long time mates Static-X on their much-anticipated return down under!

Both Static-X and SOiL have shared many stages together throughout the years, but this will be the first time for Aussie fans seeing both legends tour together on the same bill, which many are already calling gig of the year going by the leaked footage from Static-X’s current US run!

With the recent release of their covers album ‘Play It Forward’, SOil have also been quietly working on the follow up to their 2013 album ‘Whole’ and was the first album since 2004 to feature lead vocalist Ryan McCombs, having returned to the band in 2011 while bass player Tim King has been getting in touch with his death metal roots with his side project Embryonic Autopsy (which is a must check out for any old school DM disciples!)

The Everblack Podcast caught up with SOiL bass player Tim King about their upcoming Australian tour with Static-X, covers album ‘Play It Forward’ and new album on the way, their death metal origins and brutal side project Embryonic Autopsy, Ryan McCombs rejoining Drowning Pool and more!
