Launching into action with hammering guitar riffage and mantra-like vocals from frontman Sam Frank, ‘I Am The Vomit’ pays superb homage to the likes of Judas Priest and Slayer. Brilliant harmonies and tension-building cadences make way for a mammoth chorus, thunderous and sepulchral with fetid lyrics embodying motifs of rebirth and decay through intense instrumentation.

“‘I Am The Vomit’ is a key piece of Battlesnake lore. It tells the tale of a hell beast made from vomit that emerges from the dirt on judgement day to consume every naughty boy and girl before sending them to vomit hell.”
To coincide with the release, the band will take their theatrical live show to Qudos Bank Arena to open for international metal goliaths KISS on their farewell tour, before performing on several dates in capital cities and regional towns along Australia’s East Coast.
Battlesnake are notorious for their distinct presence in Eora/Sydney’s music scene, coordinating their musical ability alongside CO2 cannons, spark machines and trademark swimwear outfits. Entirely self-made, produced and managed, the group’s cohesive cult-like portrayal compliments all that they create. In the live arena, they have supported homegrown favourite Ruby Fields and sold out several hometown shows including The Lansdowne Hotel and Waywards.
