Tetrament Release New Single ‘Lifeless’

Brisbane based metal band Tetrament have recently released their new single Lifeless ahead of the upcoming EP ‘The Path Of Least Existence’ out November 11.

Talking about the single vocalist Matty said ‘Lifeless takes its roots lyrically from my distaste for organised religion and the suffering this well-oiled machine has inflicted on humanity throughout history.’

About the origins of the track ‘Sammy had written this guitar piece that melted my face the first time he played it to me, so we mashed the parts together and came out with what we felt was a freight train of a song’

‘There were a few choices when it came to which song was to be our debut single, we chose Lifeless for a couple of reasons. Firstly, we thought a shorter, heavy-hitting song to kick the door off its hinges was a solid start to the campaign, and secondly, the location we had in mind to shoot the film clip was about to be demolished, so it became a bit of a no brainer.’

When it came to the video Matty stated ‘We had an absolute ball shooting the clip with Alex Nelson of Emerge Creative. We had a simple narrative in mind and organised our own attire and props, gave Alex the gist of our idea and upon viewing the location he got really excited for the project, and by his hand, it all fell into place beautifully on the day.’

‘All in all we’re extremely proud to be finally unleashing this beast upon the world’

The song was recorded under the care of Chris Ross from Pulpitation Studios and was mixed/mastered by Clint Vincent of Dead Letter Circus.
